The Samsung Galaxy S25 series leaks keep rolling in, and it’s getting harder to track all the exciting details. However, today brings some major new insights about this flagship lineup. We’ve rounded up the top four revelations below to keep you up to date.
January 22, 2025: Mark the Date
All signs point to a January 22, 2025, launch for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and possibly the Galaxy S25 Slim. Additionally, Samsung is rumored to unveil augmented reality glasses and the Galaxy Ring 2 at the same event. This makes the launch a must-watch for tech enthusiasts.
Redesigned Camera Modules
Phone skin company Dbrand recently released skins for the Galaxy S25 lineup (via 9to5Google), revealing key details about the phone’s design. These renders give us a glimpse of revamped camera modules and some subtle design changes.
One noticeable change is the black rings around the rear camera lenses, a design choice inspired by the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The edges of the Galaxy S25 Ultra also appear to be more rounded compared to its predecessor. These tweaks give the series a sleeker and more modern appearance.
Enhanced On-Device AI Features
Artificial intelligence is set to play an even bigger role in the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy AI will include features like real-time translations, text generation assistance, and AI-powered image editing, among others. According to insider @AssembleDebug (via Phandroid), more of these AI features will now run on the device itself rather than relying on cloud processing. This shift not only improves response times but also enhances user privacy.
The inclusion of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor will make these advancements possible, ensuring seamless performance across all models in the lineup.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Full Specs Leaked
Tipster @heyitsyogesh has provided a comprehensive list of specs for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. While many details align with previous rumors, this list adds more confidence to the expectations for Samsung’s top-tier device.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, matching its predecessor. Inside, it’ll house the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, along with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Camera enthusiasts can look forward to a quad-lens setup: 200MP+50MP+50MP+10MP, ensuring exceptional photo and video quality.
The Slim Galaxy S25 Slim
Rumors suggest that Samsung will also introduce a super-thin Galaxy S25 Slim model alongside the primary lineup. According to insider @Jukanlosreve, Samsung plans to use ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) technology to minimize the camera bump and keep the device ultra-thin.
Just how thin? Previous leaks indicate that the Galaxy S25 Slim will measure just over 6mm in thickness, significantly slimmer than the 7.6mm Galaxy S24. While the Slim model may debut in January, it’s possible it won’t hit shelves until later in the year.
