RTX 50 Series High-End Pricing Trends
According to details shared by @wxnod, NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5090 is rumored to have a price tag of approximately 18,999 yuan, while the RTX 5080 may retail at 9,999 yuan. These figures represent a substantial increase in pricing from the previous generation of GPUs.
The GeForce RTX 5090’s anticipated price range of $2,500–$3,000 could reflect its enhanced performance capabilities, including advanced features such as GDDR7 memory. Similarly, the RTX 5080 is likely to be positioned in the $1,000–$1,500 price bracket, as suggested by a recent Australian retailer listing.
Mid-Range Models Expected to Hold Pricing
While high-end models are expected to see a considerable price increase, NVIDIA might maintain consistent pricing for mid-range and entry-level GPUs. These segments will face direct competition from AMD and Intel, making aggressive pricing strategies crucial for market dominance. However, enthusiasts aiming for NVIDIA’s flagship GPUs should prepare for a premium price point.
Blackwell Series Announcement in January
NVIDIA’s “Blackwell” consumer GPU lineup is expected to be officially unveiled on January 6. Until then, the leaked pricing should be treated as speculation. Nevertheless, early indications suggest that a generational MSRP increase is imminent for the higher-end RTX 50 series models, aligning with NVIDIA’s strategy to maximize performance and technological advancements.
