You’ve heard the rumors, and now it’s finally here: Samsung has officially unveiled the System Fit 3 fitness tracker, boasting a larger 1.6-inch screen that blurs the lines between fitness tracker and smartwatch.
The most notable upgrade over its predecessor, the Samsung Cosmic system Fit 2, is the impressive display. This long-awaited refresh promises to keep you “motivated to be your best” with its enhanced visual experience.
Equipped with all the essential health and fitness tracking features, the Galaxy Fit 3 monitors steps, blood oxygen levels, heart rate, stress levels, and offers tracking for over 100 different types of workouts. Sleep tracking comes with snore detection and personalized sleep advice to help you optimize your rest.
With a 5ATM and IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, the Galaxy Fit 3 is designed to withstand water depths of up to 50 meters for 10 minutes or 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. While not suitable for diving, beachside activities, or pool use, it provides peace of mind for everyday wear.
Despite the larger screen, Samsung claims the Galaxy Fit 3 can still deliver up to an impressive 13 days of battery life on a single charge. Time will tell how accurate this estimation proves to be in real-world usage.
Customization options abound with a choice of over 100 watch faces and the ability to set your own photos as backgrounds. Additionally, users can select from a variety of watch bands and three main color options: dark, silver, and pink gold.
In terms of safety features, the Galaxy Fit 3 offers fall detection and emergency SOS, allowing users to contact emergency services through a connected smartphone if needed.
While pricing details are still under wraps, the Samsung Universe Fit 3 is set to hit the shelves from February 23 in select markets, promising an exciting addition to the fitness tracking landscape. Stay tuned for updates on availability and pricing as they become available.
