A Close Look at Samsung’s Upcoming Flagship From Every Angle
With the release of the iPhone 16 series, attention now shifts to Samsung’s next major smartphone launch: the Galaxy S25 lineup. Although it’s not expected until January, recent renders have offered a possible first glimpse at the design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Android Headlines and well-known leaker @OnLeaks have created renders of the supposed design, giving us a clearer look at the Galaxy S25 Ultra from multiple angles. While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen unofficial renders of the device, this new set provides the most detailed view yet.
These renders depict a phone that largely resembles its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but with noticeable design tweaks like more rounded corners. One notable difference is that all four sides of the Galaxy S25 Ultra appear flat, unlike the slightly curved edges seen on the S24 Ultra.
However, some aspects of these renders may not be entirely accurate. Leaker @UniverseIce suggested that the texture on the camera housing could differ from what’s shown, as the renders are based on speculation. Additionally, the bezels appear larger in the renders than anticipated. @UniverseIce even provided an edited version with thinner bezels.
A Lighter, Smaller Phone with Camera Upgrades
In terms of specifications, Android Headlines and @OnLeaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will weigh only 219g, making it lighter than both the 232g Galaxy S24 Ultra and the 227g iPhone 16 Pro Max. The S25 Ultra will reportedly maintain a 6.8-inch screen size but feature slightly smaller dimensions, measuring 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm.
Interestingly, earlier leaks had suggested that the Galaxy S25 Ultra might feature a slightly larger display. However, this latest information contradicts that.
The upcoming device is expected to pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery, much like the S24 Ultra. The camera setup appears largely similar, featuring a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP 5x telephoto lens, and a 10MP 3x telephoto lens, along with a new 50MP ultra-wide lens.
While these details remain unconfirmed, @OnLeaks has a strong track record, making these some of the most credible Galaxy S25 Ultra leaks we’ve seen to date.
