A recent benchmark result for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra suggests it might be the most powerful smartphone on the market, even surpassing the performance of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
It’s no surprise that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be a powerhouse; however, just how much power it will pack has been unclear—until now. Thanks to an early benchmark leak, we’re starting to get a glimpse of its capabilities.
A leaked Geekbench screenshot, allegedly showcasing a US model of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, reveals a device with 12GB of RAM and exceptionally high scores. This model achieved a single-core score of 3,148 and an impressive multi-core score of 10,236.
How It Compares to Previous Galaxy Models and the iPhone 16 Pro Max
To put this into perspective, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s average benchmark results for single-core and multi-core were 2,137 and 6,680, respectively. This makes the S25 Ultra’s scores significantly higher.
Notably, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s multi-core performance appears to outperform the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which achieved an average single-core score of 3,392 and a multi-core result of 8,352.
A Single Benchmark May Not Tell the Whole Story
These impressive results suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra could be exceptionally powerful. However, it’s important to remember that this is just one benchmark, meaning the results could be an outlier. Furthermore, this leak comes from a screenshot of an alleged benchmark, so there’s a possibility it could be inaccurate or even fabricated.
An earlier benchmark result for the same model showed slightly lower scores, with a single-core result of 3,011 and a multi-core score of 9,706. Even with these figures, the S25 Ultra’s performance remains outstanding.
Regardless of minor variations in scores, it’s likely that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will surpass its predecessors and possibly beat the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Industry leaks indicate that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, known for its impressive on-paper specifications. This chipset could be the key to delivering a record-breaking experience in speed and power.
Looking Forward to the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s Launch
As anticipation builds, tech enthusiasts and Samsung fans alike are eager to see whether the Galaxy S25 Ultra will live up to these high expectations. With cutting-edge hardware and a top-tier chipset, the S25 Ultra promises a powerful, smooth experience that could set new standards for flagship smartphones in 2025.
