Intel’s next-generation “Battlemage” GPUs are rumored to be launching as soon as December 3, according to exclusive information shared by Videocardz. This much-anticipated release will introduce two models, the Arc Battlemage B580 and the B570, marking Intel’s next big step in the discrete GPU market.
Intel’s Highly Anticipated “Xe2” Battlemage GPUs Are Just Days From Launch
After months of speculation, Intel is reportedly preparing to launch its new Battlemage desktop GPUs during the first week of December. The Videocardz report suggests that Intel plans to unveil the Arc Battlemage B580 and B570 as the initial models in this lineup. AIB partners have also confirmed the launch, and Intel is expected to release its exclusive Limited Edition variants, a strategy reminiscent of its Arc GPU release.
Additionally, the review embargo for these GPUs is set to be lifted by mid-December. The Limited Edition models will have a separate embargo ending on December 12, with reviews for custom AIB variants following on December 13. This approach is designed to give Intel’s in-house models more visibility before partner versions reach the spotlight.
The Battlemage lineup is expected to target budget-conscious gamers, with the Arc B580 reportedly priced at $250–$260, making it a strong competitor in the mid-range GPU market. Key specifications include 12GB of GDDR6 memory, a 192-bit memory bus, and a maximum boost clock of 2.85 GHz.
Details about the Arc B570 remain sparse, but its position in the lineup suggests it will be a slightly less powerful variant, likely replacing the previous Arc A570.
With the launch just days away, Intel’s strategy appears focused on making a phased entry into the GPU market, starting with accessible mid-range models while leaving room for higher-end releases later in 2025.
