Experience 13 minutes of Assassin’s Creed Shadows gameplay
The highly anticipated Japan-set open-world game is set to release in November.
The recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Shadows primarily highlighted its narrative, characters, and setting. However, a new trailer provides a clearer insight into the actual gameplay. The extensive 13-minute gameplay overview showcases the game’s expansive depiction of Japan and elaborates on the diverse skills and strategies of its two playable characters. It’s also notably graphic.
This is the second gameplay trailer released within a couple of days. Ubisoft also shared a shorter version during the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday:
Shadows introduces dual protagonists, reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, allowing players to choose between the samurai Yasuke and the shinobi assassin Naoe. This follows last year’s Mirage, which returned the series to its more focused assassination roots. Shadows is scheduled to launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on November 15th. At WWDC 2024 earlier this week, Ubisoft also announced the game’s release on Mac.
