Assassin’s Creed Shadows: First Look at Gameplay Trailer

It appears that Ubisoft couldn’t wait for its own Ubisoft Forward event scheduled for tomorrow. Amidst all the gameplay reveals and trailers in the Xbox Games Showcase, we now have our first glimpse of Assassin’s Creed Shadows through a brief yet intense gameplay trailer.

The Assassin’s Creed Shadows first look gameplay trailer runs for just over a minute, showcasing a wealth of action. As expected, the trailer centers on Naoe and Yasuke, the game’s primary characters. The trailer begins with Naoe navigating her way across the rooftops of Feudal Japan, offering a view of the stunning scenery below. Besides the signature stealth that Assassin’s Creed is famous for, the trailer highlights the iconic hidden blade and some classic Katana combat.

The Assassin’s Creed Shadows trailer alternates between the two protagonists, effectively highlighting the contrasting methods Naoe and Yasuke will use to approach various situations in the game.

Alongside the already known release date of November 15 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Ubisoft has promised a dedicated 13-minute gameplay walkthrough at the Ubisoft Forward event happening on June 10, at 12 PM PT. Be sure to tune in on time!
