Today, Inflexion Games has officially released a new gameplay trailer for the Nightingale: Realms Rebuilt update, the largest update to the gaslamp-fantasy PvE survival-crafting game since its debut in February 2024. While overall reviews for the game remain mixed, the recent feedback for this update is trending positively, with players expressing optimism about the fresh content and mechanics introduced.
The Realms Rebuilt update brings with it an expansive new handcrafted campaign, sending players across diverse environments such as gravity-torn deserts and corrupted forests. The update also features significant improvements to the crafting and progression systems, driven by community feedback. In addition to new dungeons and boss encounters, players can now experiment with a variety of new weapons and face even more challenging gameplay elements.
Alongside the launch of this update, Nightingale is now available at a 40% discount on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. As an Early Access title, there is still more to come in future updates as the game continues to evolve.
Aaryn Flynn, CEO of Inflexion Games, noted, “The Realms Rebuilt update is the culmination of the incredible feedback we’ve received from players throughout Early Access. We believe it enhances the Nightingale experience, offering a more polished and immersive journey, while preserving the core features players love.”
This update also introduces a new parametric crafting system, allowing players to optimize their gear with more flexibility. The new dungeons and bosses present additional challenges for players to test their Realmwalker skills, while the main campaign takes players on a quest to reignite the Crossways in hopes of reopening the path to humanity.
For those unfamiliar, Nightingale is a PvE survival-crafting game where players explore, craft, and survive in the Faewilds, a dangerous and magical world inspired by Victorian gaslamp fantasy. Players can play solo or in groups of up to five, using Realm Cards to explore new regions and build estates to thrive in the game’s harsh environment.
