Supermassive Games’ latest single-player narrative-driven horror game, “The Projecting of Forthright Stone,” set in the Dead by Daylight universe, is set for release on September 3. The game’s new trailer offers a comprehensive introduction to the main cast, setting the stage for this chilling horror experience.
Developed by Supermassive Games, known for hits like “Until Dawn” and “The Quarry,” and published by Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive, “The Projecting of Forthright Stone” follows the story of five teenagers: Christine Gordon, Jaime Rivera, Linda Palace, Robert Green, and Bonnie Rivera. These characters are filming their own horror movie in an abandoned steel mill, only to find that the location has ties to a notorious murderer named Forthright Stone, turning their innocent project into a deadly nightmare.
The narrative, though still shrouded in mystery, is set in the town of Cedar Mills during the summer of 1980, within the Dead by Daylight universe. The gameplay of “The Projecting of Forthright Stone” mirrors Supermassive’s previous horror titles, being a choice-driven adventure where characters’ lives hinge on the decisions made by players. A recent gameplay trailer showcases the intensity and stakes of the game, offering a glimpse into its thrilling action.
“The Projecting of Forthright Stone” will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
