Marvel has unveiled the final five characters for its upcoming 6v6 hero shooter, Marvel Rivals, in a thrilling new trailer ahead of the game’s December 6 launch.

The latest trailer confirms that Wolverine, Black Widow, Iron Fist, Squirrel Girl, and Cloak and Dagger will join the game’s expanding roster. According to Marvel, each of these characters will be “fully showcased” in individual trailers, released daily until the game’s official launch.

Fans caught glimpses of the unique abilities these characters bring. For example, the trailer highlights a Hulk-Wolverine team-up, where the Hulk hurls Wolverine into foes with devastating precision. Additional paired attacks include Squirrel Girl catching a Spider-Man web ball and launching it as an explosive projectile and Black Widow and Hawkeye synchronizing their shots in a dynamic side-by-side attack.

New Map: Kyntar – Symbiotic Surface

In addition to character reveals, Marvel introduced a new map called Kyntar: Symbiotic Surface, adding depth to the game’s evolving narrative. Here’s the official synopsis from Marvel:

The awakening of Knull casts a foreboding shadow over Panther God Bast. In response, Shuri dispatches the Guardians of the Galaxy to Klyntar to confront this looming threat. After the Milano crash-lands, the Guardians encounter Venom. Tensions rise as Venom advocates caution, citing the volatile nature of the Knull Essence and the risks to Klyntar’s symbiotes. Meanwhile, the Guardians, determined to act swiftly, aim to neutralize Knull’s influence on the gods, including Bast. With differing priorities, the two factions part ways to pursue separate strategies.

This storyline promises an engaging backdrop to the intense battles awaiting players on this new map.

Release Details and Community Interaction

Marvel Rivals is set to launch on December 6 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Leading up to the release, Marvel Games will host an AMA session on December 4 at 10 PM ET on the game’s official Discord server, giving fans a chance to interact with the team and learn more about the title.
