According to a recent report, the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max, slated for release this autumn, could boast the longest battery life ever seen in an iPhone. Given that battery life is consistently a crucial feature for every user, this news would be particularly welcome.
The latest details suggest that this year’s iPhone upgrades may feature a larger screen size for the iPhone 16 Pro, coupled with a battery comparable to or larger than that of the iPhone 15 Pro.
Additionally, in a separate discussion, it has been indicated that both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to feature improved power efficiency.
Moreover, the largest of the two phones will feature a bigger battery, resulting in it having the longest battery life ever seen on an iPhone.
It’s not entirely surprising that the largest iPhones have been claiming the best-ever battery life, with the recent champion being the iPhone 15 Plus. It’s slightly more enduring than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, possibly because the Max has an always-on display with a higher refresh rate.
However, this year, it appears that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will take the lead, with reports indicating that the battery size may increase by 5%. Coupled with additional efficiencies, the actual increase in battery life could be even more significant.
The reports provide additional details, such as a display that will grow from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches on the iPhone 16 Pro, although this won’t result in a significant size increase for the phone itself.
It also states that the bezels on the iPhone 16 Pro will be larger than those on the Samsung Galaxy S24, which might not please Apple fans.
Other rumored updates include improved manufacturing techniques for the Pro iPhones’ titanium frame, which will reduce costs. The onboard memory seems likely to remain at 8GB, noticeably less than some competitor phones. This seems to be of somewhat academic interest as Apple seems unlikely to release an underpowered handset.
