Apple is heating things up this September with its highly anticipated iPhone 16 launch event. The tech giant has announced that it will host the event on September 9 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, where it will showcase the latest innovations at the Steve Jobs Theater on its campus. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be live-streamed on Apple’s website and other platforms.
This year’s event is expected to highlight the iPhone 16 series, packed with new and exciting features. According to insider reports, the Pro models might introduce a dedicated button specifically for taking photos—a feature that could redefine mobile photography. Additionally, the entire iPhone 16 lineup will include an action button, a feature previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Apple’s AI suite, Apple Intelligence, introduced at WWDC 2024, has already made its mark on the 15 Pro models via developer betas. With the public release of iOS 18, these features will be available to a broader audience. Moreover, some AI-powered functionalities might be unique to the iPhone 16 models, offering users an even smarter experience.
Beyond the iPhone, the event might also unveil the Apple Watch 10, rumored to feature a larger display and a more powerful chip, enhancing both performance and usability. Apple enthusiasts are also buzzing about the potential release of two new AirPods, possibly introducing advancements in audio technology and integration with Apple’s expanding ecosystem.
