As is tradition, Apple introduces new color options for its iPhone lineup every year, and this time the company is shaking things up with a few exciting new choices. Last year, Apple added titanium in a matte finish, but this year, the iPhone 16 Pro series will feature glossy finishes akin to stainless steel. Ahead of the much-anticipated launch event, renowned analyst Mark Gurman has shared details about the new iPhone 16 Pro colors.
Gold Titanium Replaces Blue on iPhone 16 Pro, Yellow Joins the Standard Models
According to the information shared by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the iPhone 16 Pro models will drop the Blue Titanium variant in favor of Gold Titanium. Other color options like Natural Titanium, Black, and White will remain unchanged. The big question is whether the appearance of these colors will undergo any modifications or if they will stay consistent with last year’s models.
Apple might also introduce at least two additional color variations for the iPhone 16 Pro lineup, with Black and White expected to remain as staple options. The Natural Titanium may have a slightly grayer tint compared to last year’s champagne shade, while the Gold variant could have a bronze-like appearance. It’s also worth noting that earlier reports referred to the Gold Titanium as “Desert Titanium,” but the final naming scheme is yet to be confirmed.
For the standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models, new color options are also on the way. Yellow will replace white, and additional colors like green, pink, and blue will join the lineup. Although previous reports didn’t include Yellow, it appears to be a last-minute addition to the final range of colors.
With Apple’s annual event set for Monday, all eyes will be on the new iPhone color choices and how they stand out from previous models. Along with the iPhone 16 lineup, Apple is expected to reveal new Apple Watch models and updated AirPods.
