iPhone 16 Series Leaked Images Reveal Specs Weeks Before Official Launch
As we approach Apple’s September Event, all eyes remain on the iPhone 16 series. The rumor mill is in full swing, with leaks gradually unveiling details about the upcoming lineup. The latest leak, involving promotional images of the iPhone 16, is making waves and demystifying the next-generation flagship phones.
Lakhwinder Singh shared the marketing material on X, displaying four images. The promotional content was intended for China, as indicated by the currency shown in one of the images. The first image reveals a vertical camera alignment on the back of the iPhone 16, marking a design shift from its predecessor. This change could be intended for better aesthetics or improved functionality when capturing photos. According to the image, the model also features a 6.1-inch display and retains much of the design language from the previous model. The phone is expected to come with an aluminum frame and a glass back, following a classic design pattern.
The iPhone 16 is shown with an Action button on the side, similar to its predecessor. The upcoming smartphone is expected to include a 48MP camera for enhanced low-light performance, an A18 chipset for more robust HDR processing, and a USB-C connection to provide improved connectivity.
The images also highlight an iPhone 16 Pro model equipped with a 48MP resolution sensor and a tetra-prism lens setup, ensuring precise and focused light to enhance camera capabilities by reducing distortions and improving image quality. The A18 Pro chip, set to power the 16 Pro model, is expected to bring significant advancements in computational photography.
Additionally, two more images showcase the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro in various color options. While the leak seems consistent with how Apple’s marketing material typically appears, it should still be approached with caution. Users are advised to rely on the official unveiling of the series in a few weeks. As the event date draws nearer, more rumors are likely to surface, but Apple is expected to keep the series details closely guarded until the big reveal.
