Apple has officially launched macOS Sequoia, introducing exciting features such as iPhone mirroring on your Mac, window tiling tools, and much more. While the highly anticipated Apple Intelligence is still in development and will be released later, macOS Sequoia already offers plenty to enhance the user experience.
The iPhone mirroring feature stands out as one of the most innovative additions in macOS Sequoia. Once activated, the iPhone screen instantly appears on your Mac, allowing you to navigate with your mouse and type using your keyboard. Notifications from your iPhone are also visible on your Mac, providing seamless integration. In the near future, you’ll be able to drag and drop files between your iPhone and Mac, taking multitasking to a new level.
Another exciting update is the improved window tiling functionality. For users who frequently multitask, this feature offers an intuitive way to organize open windows more effectively, all without the need for third-party apps. It’s a long-awaited upgrade that enhances productivity on the Mac.
In addition to these features, macOS Sequoia introduces system-wide improvements like the new Passwords app and upgrades to iMessage. The forthcoming Apple Intelligence tools, which are expected later this year, will add even more functionality, such as writing assistance and image creation. It’s worth noting that these AI tools will only be available on Macs equipped with M1 chips or newer.
