Cyberpunk 2077’s Visual Frontier Expanded with Dream Punk 1.1 and Ultra Path Tracing Mods in Striking 8K
Cyberpunk 2077 continues to dominate as one of the most visually stunning open-world RPGs in recent history, elevated by innovative mods like the DreamPunk graphics mod.
A recent video by NextGen Dreams highlights the enhancements from the 1.1 update of the mod, which thoroughly overhauls weather and lighting, integrates a tailored LUT for both SDR and HDR, and boosts ray tracing and path tracing capabilities. The upgraded graphics are so lifelike that certain scenes might be mistaken for actual footage.
The push for hyper-realism in Cyberpunk 2077 drives many in the modding community. Digital Dreams has also contributed to this trend with a fresh 8K video using the Real City Modlist alongside the new Ultra Plus Better Path Tracing mod, which significantly enhances path tracing effects for an even more immersive experience.
Available on platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One, Cyberpunk 2077 now also offers the Phantom Liberty expansion exclusively on PC and the latest console generations. This expansion brings a new locale and is touted as featuring one of the best narratives in Night City, as reviewed by Alessio.
